  James Stevens

James Stevens has a long and deep history in Chicagoland. Born and raised in Illinois near the Wisconsin border, he cut his chops, so to speak, while in the theatre department at the College of Lake County,. He was involved in numerous aspects of production, from stage design to lighting to acting to directing. Growing enamored with the experience of directing 'the big picture', he went on to major in film at Columbia College of Chicago, focusing on lighting and directing. Since his graduation in 1993, he has been very active in the Chicagoland independent movie scene, often even chairing at independent film festivals.
